To Mair Rathburn
May the music of your tender harp,
Echo through the sweet green grass
May it warm the season's heart,
And let it last
May the willow trees sway to the music
Let the sun rise and set
May this music last forever
May it dip in the swamps and lakes
without getting sorrow, soggy or wet.

Thank you, dear Manon!
Mair Rathburn: Testimonials
I'm still giddy from your Singing Strings concert. The variety of selections, close harmonies, the flute soaring overhead into the ceiling- a truly beautiful experience.
Thank you for the hard work and beautiful, moving performance. It was a strong start to the Accord Series.
Your dedication to music is inspiring to me!"

One of the joys of Mair's concert was the variety of selections chosen; classical, folk and contemporary. Mair also has a rare gift of engagement. By engagement, I mean an artist who can draw the listener into the music. At SOS the invited artists are selected because they are successful in engaging listeners. Mair does this very well with each genre of music she played at Blessed Sacrament.

I recently enjoyed a beautiful concert held at our Church featuring Mair Rathburn and friends. The music was absolutely lovely! What a beautiful way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. The two settings of the Ave Maria were especially lovely.
Ths song choices were inspired and the history of the selections gave an added extra touch. The entire concert delightful! Beautifull!!!!
